Autumn
Let us go and gather grapes in the vineyard
For the winepress, and keep the wine in old
Vases, as the spirit keeps Knowledge of the
Ages in eternal vessels.
Let us return to our dwelling, for the wind has
Caused the yellow leaves to fall and shroud the
Withering flowers that whisper elegy to Summer.
Come home, my eternal sweetheart, for the birds
Have made pilgrimage to warmth and lest the chilled
Prairies suffering pangs of solitude. The jasmine
And myrtle have no more tears.
Let us retreat, for the tired brook has
Ceased its song; and the bubblesome springs
Are drained of their copious weeping; and
Their cautious old hills have stored away
Their colorful garments.
Come, my beloved; Nature is justly weary
And is bidding her enthusiasm farewell
With quiet and contented melody
Kalhil Gibran

The sea

In the still of the night
As man slumbers behind the folds,
the forest proclaims: "I am the power Brought by the sun from The heart of the earth."
The sea remains quiet, saying to itself, "I am the power."
The rock says, "The ages erected me as a monument Until the Judgment Day."
The sea remains silent saying to itself, "I am the monument."
The wind howls "I am strong, I separate the heavens from the earth."
The sea remains quiet, saying to itself, "The wind is mine."
The river says "I am the pure water That quenches the thirst of the earth."
The sea remains silent saying to itself, "The river is mine."
The summit says, "I stand high like a star In the center of the sky."
The sea remains quiet saying to itself, "The summit is mine."
The brain says, "I am a ruler; The world is in those who rule."'
The sea remains slumbering saying, in its sleep, "All is mine."

MONNLIGHT SUMMER MOONLIGHT
by Emily Bronte

'Tis moonlight, summer moonlight,
All soft and still and fair;
The solemn hour of midnight
Breathes sweet thoughts everywhere,

But most where trees are sending
Their breezy boughs on high,
Or stooping low are lending
A shelter from the sky.

And there in those wild bowers
A lovely form is laid;
Green grass and dew-steeped flowers
Wave gently round her head.

OLIVE TREE

The olive tree is the symbol of plenty, justice, peace, victory, wisdom, and rebirth.

The olive tree grows slowly, like a human. Seed, sprout, then sapling, it matures, shunning shade and moisture, and keeps its slivery grey-green leaves year round. It loves the Mediterranean, the Aegean, the South. In spring, it produces tiny, delicate yellow and white blossoms with a light scent all their own. The flowers turn into fruit, growing larger and maturing towards end of summer.Autumn is time for harvest. After a long productive life, the body withers, but new shoots spring green form the roots, becoming a new tree.

It is said that there are two trees in the Paradise: the fig and the olive. The fig the 'Tree of Truth' ; the olive the `Tree of Life'. As in the oldest known reference in Latin to the olive, which is also mentioned in the Old and New Testaments as well as the Quran: ¡¨Oles prima arborum omnium est¡¨(The olive is first among all trees).The olive tree, symbol of holiness, plenty, justice, health, pride, victory, prosperity, wisdom, intelligence, purity, and rebirth-all the important human virtues.

SUNSET

Behind the golden western hills
The sun goes down, a founder'd bark,
Only a mighty sadness fills
The silence of the dark.

O twilight sad with wistful eyes,
Restore in ruth again to me
The shadow of the peace that lies
Beyond the purple sea.

The sun of my great joy goes down,
Against the paling heights afar,
Gleams out like some glad angel's crown,
A yellow evening star;

The glory from the western hills
Falls fading, spark on spark,
Only a mighty sadness fills
The spaces of the dark.

But at the same time one of her many works of art,
Her drops are pure and crystalline like a baby’s soul.
She has the power to purify.
So instead of running away from her,

Song of the rain

I am dotted silver threads dropped from heaven
By the gods. Nature then takes me, to adorn
Her fields and valleys.

I am beautiful pearls, plucked from the
Crown of Ishtar by the daughter of Dawn
To embellish the gardens.

When I cry the hills laugh;
When I humble myself the flowers rejoice;
When I bow, all things are elated.

The field and the cloud are lovers
And between them I am a messenger of mercy.
I quench the thirst of one;
I cure the ailment of the other.

The voice of thunder declares my arrival;
The rainbow announces my departure.
I am like earthly life, which begins at
The feet of the mad elements and ends
Under the upraised wings of death.

I emerge from the heart of the sea
Soar with the breeze. When I see a field in
Need, I descend and embrace the flowers and
The trees in a million little ways.

I touch gently at the windows with my
Soft fingers, and my announcement is a
Welcome song. All can hear, but only
The sensitive can understand.

The heat in the air gives birth to me,
But in turn I kill it,
As woman overcomes man with
The strength she takes from him.

I am the sigh of the sea;
The laughter of the field;
The tears of heaven.

So with love —
Sighs from the deep sea of affection;
Laughter from the colorful field of the spirit;
Tears from the endless heaven of memories.

Song of The Flower
I am a kind word uttered and repeated
By the voice of Nature;
I am a star fallen from the
Blue tent upon the green carpet.
I am the daughter of the elements
With whom Winter conceived;
To whom Spring gave birth; I was
Reared in the lap of Summer and I
Slept in the bed of Autumn.

At dawn I unite with the breeze
To announce the coming of light;
At eventide I join the birds
In bidding the light farewell.

The plains are decorated with
My beautiful colors, and the air
Is scented with my fragrance.

As I embrace Slumber the eyes of
Night watch over me, and as I
Awaken I stare at the sun, which is
The only eye of the day.

I drink dew for wine, and hearken to
The voices of the birds, and dance

I am the lover's gift; I am the wedding wreath;
I am the memory of a moment of happiness;
I am the last gift of the living to the dead;
I am a part of joy and a part of sorrow.

But I look up high to see only the light,
And never look down to see my shadow.
This is wisdom which man must learn.

"You're Still You"

Through the darkness
I can see your light
And you will always shine
And I can feel your heart in mine
Your face I've memorized
I idolize just you
I look up to
Everything you are
In my eyes you do no wrong
I've loved you for so long
And after all is said and done
You're still you
After all
You're still you
You walk past me
I can feel your pain
Time changes everything
One truth always stays the same
You're still you
After all
You're still you
I look up to
Everything you are
In my eyes you do no wrong
And I believe in you
Although you never asked me to
I will remember you
And what life put you through
And in this cruel and lonely world
I found one love
You're still you
After all
You're still you

Song of The Flower

I am a kind word uttered and repeated
By the voice of Nature;
I am a star fallen from the
Blue tent upon the green carpet.
I am the daughter of the elements
With whom Winter conceived;
To whom Spring gave birth; I was
Reared in the lap of Summer and I
Slept in the bed of Autumn.
At dawn I unite with the breeze
To announce the coming of light;
At eventide I join the birds
In bidding the light farewell.
The plains are decorated with
My beautiful colors, and the air
Is scented with my fragrance.
As I embrace Slumber the eyes of
Night watch over me, and as I
Awaken I stare at the sun, which is
The only eye of the day.
I drink dew for wine, and hearken to
The voices of the birds, and dance
To the rhythmic swaying of the grass.
I am the lover's gift; I am the wedding wreath;
I am the memory of a moment of happiness;
I am the last gift of the living to the dead;
I am a part of joy and a part of sorrow.
But I look up high to see only the light,
And never look down to see my shadow.
This is wisdom which man must learn.

The flowers beauty, the melodious birds'singing, the sunny and clear days are
the most beautiful recompense for our waiting.

Spring

Come, my beloved; let us walk amidst the knolls,
For the snow is water, and Life is alive from its
Slumber and is roaming the hills and valleys.
Let us follow the footprints of Spring into the
Distant fields, and mount the hilltops to draw
Inspiration high above the cool green plains.
Dawn of Spring has unfolded her winter-kept garment
And placed it on the peach and citrus trees; and
They appear as brides in the Spring
ceremonial custom of
the Night of Kedre.
The sprigs of grapevine embrace each other like
Sweethearts, and the brooks burst out in dance
Between the rocks, repeating the song of joy;
And the flowers bud suddenly from the heart of
Nature, like foam from the rich heart of the sea.
Come, my beloved; let us drink the last of Winter's
Tears from the cupped lilies, and soothe our spirits
With the shower of notes from the birds, and wander
In exhilaration through the intoxicating breeze.
Let us sit by that rock, where violets hide; let us
Pursue their exchange of the sweetness of kisses.

music: "INVERNO" from "Le Quattro stagioni" by Vivaldi

It's really a great emotion the first snow.
All around is just silence,peace and white.
Everything is covered in snow.
Nature takes a long rest before,the spring awakening.
But it is breathaking beauty, always

THE SOUND OF SILENCE

The morning was mute, quiet and still
as I awoke from a peaceful rest;

The sounds of silence were a soft calm
and peace was mine - I was blessed.

A hushed world was solemn in thought
at the silence all around;

Snowflakes fell like pure-white feathers
and never made a sound.

A lull like this, in a busy world,
was Nature's gift of wonder;

I stifled thoughts of anything
that might put it asunder.

For just awhile on a winter's morn,
I turned within, in awe;

Listening to the sounds of silence
and the beauty that I saw.

Joan Adams Burchell

E'sempre una grande emozione la prima neve.
Tutto attorno è solo pace silenzio e bianco.
Ogni cosa è coperta di neve.
La natura si concede un lungo riposo, prima
del risveglio primaverile.
Ma la sua bellezza è sempre da mozzare il fiato. (meno dettagli)

I always am amazed how nature shows its beauty in every season to whom has the right
sensitivity to capture it.
Even a foggy, frosty, gray,cold day "hides" it great beauty.
Nature beauty is all around us, even in the dark. It's enough a little effort to discover it.
Nature is my inspires muse
Without nature beauty, life hasn't any sense.

WALKING IN THE FOG

Taupe is the color of bare branches
on this grey winter's sky
Leaves have blown asunder
and bark has turned to ash
Cold is this place that we must walk
barren is the path
that leads into the grey light
of this winters frost
Bare the branches o'er our heads
birds do not fly
the mist is cold and dampening
it chill's down to our bones
No sound where we tread
no one calls out our names
the path is fading fast
as the world disappears
The world is white
Around us we can not see
We hold tight to the other's hand
Tread with care as we go
Suddenly there in front
ah a few steps ahead
the fog begins to break
At last we know our way

This is the most beautiful season,when
nature shows the great of its beauty
Leaves turn the green color in orange,
red, yellow, light brown.

Leaves

How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.
At other times, they wildly fly
Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow.

L'autunno è in assoluto la piu' bella stagione.
La natura durante questo periodo è capace di superarsi in bellezza, donando a chi riesce a fermarsi almeno per un istante
i suoi meravigliosi colori.
Le foglie degli alberi mutano dal verde,
in un trionfo di giallo, rosso, arancio, marrone.
