I know it took a while but with my HD crashing and me trying to get used to FCP - yeah.. that'll happen. I like how this video turned out, but some parts I'm kind of disappointed in because they looked better in the video I made when my computer crashed (I was working on it at that second, about 3/4 done with it and BAM!) but it still turned out alright. I know there aren't as many crazy effects as last time, but I'm still getting used to FCP, I'm not as good as RavenHPLTC24 yet, but I hope to get that good with my program.. she's just awesome lol. I felt this video was good without crazy effects as well because I wanted to focus on the back story a bit more, so I just used subtle twitches to accent some points and let the rest do its own thing! This video is about Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee (in order of appearance) and their friendship leading up to my one of my favorite scenes in the entire show, Boiling Rock Pt. 2 when Azula's deceitful ways finally catch up with her. I love this song because one- its a chick song (well, singer-wise) and fits really well.. as well as it gave me the opportunity to use the sound bite towards the end.. which is awesome cuz like I said-I LOVE that scene. Please tell me what you guys think, I would love any comments on my work to improve. Thanks! I dunno if I'm the only one thinks about this (cuz I have been on a huge soundtrack music trip for the past 3 weeks or so) but the <a href="http://www.thetrackteam.com/run.php">The Track Team</a> does a great job with music for <a href="http://www.nick.com/shows/avatar/index.jhtml">Avatar: The Last Airbender</a>, I love it. Especially in this scene during 'The Earth King' of the second book. So since I have the music for the scene, I figured it might be fun to get rid of the voices and other noises in the scene and just lay over the track of music so other Avatar fans could appreciate the music behind our show. (I kinda gave up on uploading my other videos for a whie) I know, I know- it's something different.. so shutup! Basically, ATLA is my fav show n I've been wanting to to do a video for it for WEEKS but I just recently got the clips onto my computer.. I've had this one video planned out forever but then when I went to go make it, turns out I have basically NO disk space left on my computer (GEEZE these movie files take up a lot of space! I put like.. EVERYTHING on my external hard-drive and it STILL was like.. squishing to fit!) So I just decided to change my plans for now and just do a smaller Toph video (cuz it takes less clips) until I can figure out the memory problem, then I'll get on the other one! I wasn't able to use as many clips of Toph that I wanted (well, clips from other episodes n such) but I think it turned out okay.. esp since I cannout seem to find a decent song for Toph.. this one's *okay* but.. meh. So Avatar fans, tell me what you think! I know it's not as fancy as some other ATLA videos may be but I'm only using iMovie right now cuz I'm not used to my other programs enough.
