After riding about 20 miles with my friend at Clough State Park I split off on my own to ride one of my favorite trails, the River Loop. It's restricted to only dirtbikes due to how rough and narrow it is. This was my first real try filming something with the dirtbike helmetcam. Tomorrow I will be riding there again with friends, and will get some video of that. Having other riders should make the video more fun and add some perspective to some of the obstacles. Check out where I almost impale my face on that fallen tree limb.

With 60 odd horsepower and weighing about 220 pounds, he jokingly refers to it as "the man bike". It's geared to go about 90 mph right from the factory and it pulls like a locomotive from the basement up. It can and will loop in any gear at any time. Watch me do a few small wheelies pulling away from the camera...I'm sitting practically on the tank at the time. At the end there's a few clips of me riding it on the practice track. You can see it easily blows the knobs off the rear wheel every time you even start to get onto the throttle. The very last clip is me on the same corner on my RM125.

You have to tear apart half the back of the bike to get the wheel off, so I took a minute to grab a video of the bike running without the can. I'd say it was open headers but I guess there's a mid pipe there, so. The video does not at all convey how really, really, loud it is. One thing you will notice is that you can't hear the cam whine. It's loud enough to drown that out, which is saying something on this bike haha.
