Yes it's a simple as it looks. Just a random display of dropping boxes, in which makes things very hectic. Items also pose as a challenge because they drop boxes and this also makes them harder to grab. As you can see CPU's are not the best at it, it's better to play with 3 human opponents. Crappy characters = heavy characters. The best characters are the ones that can cling to walls and/or jump high. Diddy is a complete asshole when used, his bananas drop the boxes.
