An Atmosphere for a Miracle! Atmosphere! A word that explains so much about where we are or what we have experienced. Atmosphere speaks of the environment, the setting or the surroundings. It also speaks of the ambiance, the mood or the frame of mind people are in when in the atmosphere. Atmosphere is important to all of us and especially when in a Church service if you are wanting God to make a difference in you life. A welder was recently sharing an experience he had while in a revival crusade with Evangelist Gary Ashcraft. He was standing in the front praying. He was seeking God regarding certain situations he was dealing with in his life. He said there was no way Evangelist Ashcraft could have known what he was praying about or what he was dealing with. Several years before the welder had a surgery on his wrist because of a complex cyst that had grown there. Now it was returning and he was concerned he might not be able to continue working as a welder. He had also been experiencing a severe pain in his side. He had not gone to the doctor to have it examined because he was afraid of what they might find. As he was praying, sharing with God his concerns and fears, Evangelist Ashcraft came to him. The Evangelist spoke to him of the surgery he was concerned he would have to have on his wrist. He also spoke to him of the pain in his side and his concern of what it might be. The Spirit of God had revealed this to the Evangelist allowing him to minister to the welder. God touched his body as they prayed for him. The welder noted there was an awesome presence of God in the service. There was an atmosphere where God could heal and restore. An atmosphere, a setting or frame of mind among the people in which God can heal. An ambiance or mood which entertained the presence of God allowing the faith of the people to rise to the place that God could speak through the man of God revealing needs in the lives and bodies of the believers. I am reminded of a song we have sang for many years that says, “Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place, I can feel His mighty power and His grace, I can feel the brush of angel wings, I see glory on each face, surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.” An atmosphere in which God can meet the need of the hurting soul. An ambiance that allows God to be God and make a difference in the lives of those who are needing a difference maker. A frame of mind that says to God, here I am I need you to show up in my life. An atmosphere for a miracle!

In front of the church there is a sign that says, “Truth Tabernacle; ‘If you pray I will hear.’“ God” According to different folks from the Church it is as if God has sent that message to Truth Tabernacle personally. They prayed and God has heard their prayers. One family tells us of miraculous healings that have taken place in their bodies. In a revival service over six months prior Evangelist Gary Ashcraft had spoken to the wife. Without anyway of knowing these conditions existed except by divine knowledge, Evangelist Ashcraft told the wife God was healing her high blood pressure problem and her heart. He also spoke to her husband and told him God was healing the torn cartilage in his left shoulder. Six months later the pain is gone from the shoulder and there is easy, pain free movement. The doctor has just given a report of her heart being one hundred percent whole. She had been having pain from some damage to her neck and God had also healed that. She speaks of her thankfulness for God’s healing power and wants her testimony to be a seed of faith for others. She says to others, “You don’t have to stay in the condition you are in, God can heal you.” They had prayed and God had heard their prayer. God not only hears prayer to heal shoulders and hearts, He also hears prayers to heal broken lives and shattered dreams. God not only hears the prayers of those folks who attend Truth Tabernacle He will also hear the prayers of each and every individual who cries out to Him. Our God is a prayer answering God. He is a God who takes the hopeless and fills them with hope. He picks up the helpless and extends a helping hand. He brushes off those who life has ran over and empowers them to continue on. He hears our prayers when we pray. In fact He promised, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14. “If you pray I will hear, God”

The Weight is Gone! Expect the unexpected! That is how folks go to Truth Tabernacle. It seems that God is continually doing the unexpected, so folks are expecting Him to continue on. One Sister told of a problem she had been experiencing for five or six weeks. She had been taking “Baby Aspirin” for what seemed to be a blood flow problem. She felt exhausted all of the time. Even within moments after she arose in the morning she felt so tired she was barely able to perform the simplest chores she had to do. Evangelist Gary Ashcraft was preaching a revival crusade at Truth Tabernacle. She said on this particular night he had asked everyone to raise their hands and worship the Lord. She raised her hands which quickly started to go numb. In fact she could feel the numbness from her finger-tips to her chest. Evangelist Ashcraft approached her and said in the Spirit he saw a huge blood clot and a seizure type situation in her body but God was going to dissolve the clot making her whole. Hr laid hands on her a prayed for her in the name of Jesus Christ. She said that immediately the numbness went away. The tightness she felt in her neck was loosened. She felt as if a seventy pound weight had been lifted from her chest. She feels lighter, brighter, free, and thankful and is giving God all of the glory! The beautiful thing is people are not only experiencing physical pressure and weights being lifted from their bodies. They are also experiencing spiritual weights being lifted from their lives. As they are turning to Jesus Christ and seeking Him and His Kingdom, God is responding by lifting the load of sin from their lives. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30) What an invitation, a tremendous opportunity to team up with Jesus Christ and share your burden with Him.
