A winning hand in blackjack is determined by the total number of points of all cards in the hand. To win the dealer, the player must have a total number of points that does not exceed 21, but is larger than the total of the dealers hand.
All face cards are worth 10 points and aces can be counted as 1 or 11 as the player desires. Two initial cards that have 21 points (an ace and a 10 value card) are called blackjack. Blackjack is the highest hand in the game.
in blackjack any cards are dealt, all players wager, placing their bets at the indicated area in front of their sitting position. also in blackjack after the bets are placed, the dealer deals two cards to each player and two for himself, while one of his cards is placed face up, so everyone can see its vale and the second one is placed face down. When all players play their hands, the dealer reveals his downcard and plays his hand.
The blackjack player receives his turn, in which he may hit, stand , double down , split or surrender. In many casinos players are also allowed to place an insurance bet if the dealers upcard is an ace. Insurance bet is paid 2 to 1 if the dealer has a blackjack.
If the total of players points exceeds 21 it is called a bust. The player who busts immediately turns all his cards face down and loses regardless of the hand of the dealer. Winning busts is the only advantage given to the dealer, because ties (when the dealer and the player have equal number of points) are pushed, and neither player nor dealer wins any money.
In casinos, dealers must follow so called house rules that do not allow them to make any personal decisions during the game. Normally, the dealer must hit if he has 16 points or less and stand if he has 17 or more. Some tables have Hit Soft 17 rule, which obliges the dealer to hit if he has 17 points composed of an ace plus six points. Whether the dealer hits or stands soft 17 is indicted at each particular table.

Author: azvidz
Keywords: Games Casino gambling blackjack black jack 21 card s counting profits proof Free ebook secrets
Added: Fri, 21 Nov 2008 11:45:59 GMT

Video codes to display this video on your website!

http://www.livevideo.com

Craps is generally seen as a fun and exhilarating game by gambling enthusiasts and can be played at a number of reputable online casinos, such as VegasUSA. If you are not sure how to play craps, then this article is just for you. I plan on going through a simple, yet definitive scrutiny of the basics of how to play craps.
The Craps Pit
When most players walk past the craps pit, the sounds heard are those of players cheering and congratulating each other, all done in a rather boisterous manner. The element that turns most new potential players away from craps is the intimidating atmosphere. Being new to a game where everything seems to move at breakneck speed can seem rather daunting, but if you dare to break into the craps circle, it will soon become apparent that the game itself is not half as intimidating as the surrounding atmosphere. www.TakeTheGambleOutOfBetting.com. solves all those problems.
The Area Of Play
The game of craps is played on a table that is built with the two furthest ends being exact mirror images of each other. This is done only so that more players can be included in the game. Two dice are used, so that the possible numbers that can be rolled range from 2 through 12. The dice are regularly checked for damage and are routinely changed approximately every 8 hours. The casino personnel normally present at a craps table are the stickman, boxman and two dealers.
