Captain America was gunned down by a sniper on the Courthouse steps, fighting against the Governments mandatory Superhero registration program. He was a very human Superhero, revealed most acutely in Marvel's unusual comic called "Heroes" depicting 9/11, where he felt completely helpless and could not save anyone. Was a subtle political point made? Is America the America that he fought to protect? Or am I just reading too much into it? Music: Helpless by Neil Young
