These birds seem to know when a camera is on them and how to discourage picture taking. This one was confused by the presence of lots of people and either didn't notice me or said the heck with it and I got a short video clip.

Just a little video and a few stills...battery went dead on digital cam before I even took one picture and was at the end of the tape on the camcorder (found out later it was there because of an accidental recording of the lens cap). It was on You Tube (still is). I decided to upload it here because YouTube's default thumbnail was of some orange gooey fungus thing (you'll see it in here...maybe you can tell me what it is) so I don't think the video got the looks it might have.

Various clips of the herring during their Spring 2007 run. It's a little long - hope you enjoy it (it WAS 15 minutes long...I tried shortening it as much as I could). Song by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Kashmir ("Unledded")...not really the best fitting lyrics for river scenes but some words do fit and the music works. lol. A LIVEVIDEO EXCLUSIVE!
