XDDDD (it's been on my to-do list for a while - I came across the song when I was trying to find MSI's Bite Your Rhymes for Near's theme song - and I thought it fit Misa quite well) Short summary: Misa grows a brain. XDDDD (but her unconditional love is sweet) There may have been better ways of conveying the intention of the video - in my mind - at least for this vid-, Misa fell in love with Light's good self - the one where he goes out of his way to do the moral thing, the same way he acted before he got corrupted through the endless killing, and the same way he acted when he lost his memory of the death note. In other words, I didn't really mean for the 'stranger' to be Ryuk, even though I used Ryuk to be symbolic of the Kira persona. So Misa is in despair because the Light she loves, the good Light, is being dissolved more and more as Light's Kira persona is taking over. Not exactly the storyline, but anyway. x3 Creative license.

This is more or less a serious video, except it is parodying the claims that KMFDM causes people to go nuts and shoot people (which is why I'm making fun of it - as opposed to the killings themselves. I just don't think there's actually a connection - it's ridiculous to think that as far as I'm concerned. I think the song is actually ridiculing people who resort to violence, because the statements are so extreme.) So it's saying Itachi murdered the clan because he likes KMFDM. Note: I used the disco version of the song, not the original version. Plus the disco music video is slightly different. I didn't know exactly how to approach this AMV, but I thought that it would need to rely more heavily on effects since it's so repetitive and it's not a story-driven AMV (for the most part). I'm still new at creating heavily-edited effects. Hmm, I would link to the clip of it on YouTube but I don't think it's available in my country and it's not coming up on the search engines. :/ Anyway, I guess all you need to know about the DISCO version is that everything at the beginning was tinted green, with a strobe light effect meant to resemble camera flashes, the contrast was large so there was a lot of black in the picture, and the camera moved as if it were showing the scene from one of the paparazzi. I tried to recreate that effect. Also, I followed the Ermac and AbsoluteDestiny's guide with the filters to improve quality and compressability http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/avspostqual.html and encoding to XviD http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/xvid.html I was so surprised that it came out first pass at less than 20 megs! (the audio made it 22megs) But really great stuff! >3

Sasuke is becoming the person he hates the most - Itachi. Even though he's training to kill Itachi, he's destroying the lives of the people close to him, and he's becoming cold and distant - like Itachi. The line "what I really am" could be interpreted is referring to many aspects of Sasuke (like an avenger) but I thought of it as "being like Itachi". So it's a bit angsty, and when Sasuke is fighting Itachi, he's also fighting his inner demons. (of course this is my fanciful interpretation, but it makes the AMV more dramatic. X3 So I guess Sasuke has fears that he's really like Itachi.) The other way I wanted to convey that Sasuke is becoming Itachi was with the line "are we having fun yet" - the first two times Itachi is saying it to Sasuke (in Sasuke's mind) and the last time Sasuke is saying those words to Naruto. And I'm really sorry about the credits at the end - I'm still new/experimenting with effects. This was made using Premiere CS3, btw.
