I am often asked to describe my experience in raising children with a disability. This poem describes it well.

Please do not feel sympathy for our family, especially for the children. They struggle with things that most people take for granted, but they are very strong people. They can accomplish anything to the best of their ability if they set their mind to it.
Welcome To Holland by Emily Pearl Kingsley
I am often asked to describe my experience in raising children with a disability. This poem describes it well.

Please do not feel sympathy for our family, especially for the children. They struggle with things that most people take for granted, but they are very strong people. They can accomplish anything to the best of their ability if they set their mind to it. That is all anyone can do really.
