I put some enamel down for the base color. I really like enamel. It's nice and glossy, but sticky and messy. I need some more white markers. That's the bad thing about them, they kind of dry quickly. Another song I put together. I want to make good music to listen to when walking. yeah!

There's a skatepark fairly close to where I live. I know I didn't get the best shots, but I was tired, OKAY. I think skating is pretty cool. I'll probably go back and get some better shots. This is Matt Suggs singing. off the album 'Golden Days before the End.' This album is reeeeal nice. relaxing. I recommend it and that's my review.

I want a tank. This is a fun painting technique/style. have a black underlayer, paint white over it, then scrape away to reveal the black underneath. although, I will use a stick and dip it in some oil paint and paint with that. it's fun. This is Gang Starr from 'No more Mr. Nice Guy' rapping 'Manifest.' My friend Chico burned me this. I like his style. this album is kind of hit and miss. I would only recommend it if you like rap music. and that's my review.

I think submarines are pretty cool. I love 20,000 leagues under the Sea. This submarine looks like a poofy cloud. I'll probably paint over it. This is Big Star singing 'Thirteen' off '#1 Record Radio City.' I wouldn't recommend it unless you like classic rock.

Today, I went to the Garfield Park Conservatory which is in the Southside of Chicago. I wanted to see the sculptures of Niki de Saint Phalle. The Conservatory was real nice and kept up. The 34 sculptures were pretty awesome. and the kids seemed to be enjoying themselves. Music is Ravi Shankar. I've been trying to buy more world music. This is from a CD called 'Chants of India' and yes, most of it is chanting. It's pretty relaxing. It's not perfect. I can't say I'd recommend it. I'd like to know what albums of Ravi Shankar are good.

I've been wanting to make this video for a couple months. This is 'Cloud Gate': the pretentious name. The common name is 'the bean.' I really like it. I think the best art is interactive. Today, was a beautiful day and the clouds look really nice on the bean. Music is Brian Eno off 'Apollo Atmospheres and soundtracks.' ambient album. it's awesome and that's my review.

This is in Millenium Park. the water looked very appealing. the kids were having a blast. This song is off the 'lost in translation' soundtrack. I believe it's by Kevin Shields. I really like the soundtrack. some real relaxing songs on it.

Argh! Well, I wish I took more shots. I think I was a little restless, hungry, had to pee. I do like some of them. I love the shot of the ride where the people are hanging by the wire and they spin around. I used to love that ride. I gotta go an amusement park. I haven't been for years. that's sad. I love any type of ride. The Navy Pier is touristy. It's a good place to take your kids. This is the Sea and Cake. One of my favorite bands. This is 'Parasol' off their 'Nassau' album. It's great. They have this laid-back, lounge style. I recommend their early albums, this one and 'The biz' and 'the fawn' I just got their new, but I'm a bit disappointed.

I took out my bike to the lakefront today. Beautiful day. Everybody was BBQing. lots of joggers and bikers. Joggers=weirdos I love to people watch. People are so interesting and yes, weird. Well, I biked to Navy Pier. I have another video coming. Today, I remember my best friend from high school, Chris Walsh, who died last year in Iraq. He was a Navy Corpsman (medic for the Marines). and I remember the time when we maced a squirrel because we were stupid. This is Yo la Tengo singing 'little eyes' off their 'Summer Sun' album. It's a good album. pretty relaxing. I like all their stuff. and that's my review.

This is the park I always go to. It's nice and close. There is always baseball, soccer, kickball, etc...going on. I really need to join a kickball team. I watch these people my age playing and I just want to join in. need to look into it. softball and soccer look fun, too. This is Pavement singing 'We Dance' off their 'Wowee Zowee' album. Pretty good album. Pavement has some nice songs, but also some stinkers.

Sorry, the lighting is so bad. I have these low Watt lightbulbs which just aren't that bright:P haven't done an art vid in a while. i love to paint castles. hopefully, I can get more of these done. OH, and yes, I have to do those portrait vids. This is the band Hum singing 'Green to Me' off of their 'Downward is Heavenward' album. This album rules. I listened to it a bajillion times in college and it still rocks. I recommend it if you like the indie rock.
