Back in May Leigh (Dax79), Nicole (Nicole83) and I organised a pirate themed birthday party for Brendan. Leigh and me spent the day with Brendan dressed as pirates. We went to a pirate exhibition at the Jersey Maritime Museum and then drank for the rest of the day until the party in the evening (which explains some of the wobbly camera work). Here are some of the highlights from the party.

Back in May a few of us went to the zoo and I took my new camera rig. Apologies for the dodgy camera work. I was trying to get used to the weight of the camera and the constant focusing needed with the lenses. Also the fixed focal length of the lenses means I can't zoom so it wasn't always easy trying to capture the moment effectively. In this video you'll see me (briefly) along with Leigh (Dax79), Nicole (Nicole83), Nicole's friend from France Emmanuelle, Jack, Perry and Emma. I also apologise for the extremely cheesy bit towards the end which is for Jack.

Me doing a Rubik's cube. I think my webcam has seen better days, I dropped it and it hasn't been the same since. Time to buy a new one perhaps. Because of the low framerate and low shutterspeed of the webcam it ends up looking fake, maybe I'll have to redo it on a better camera. Enjoy :)
