On further investigation, iMovie '08 is a pile of dog poop in my opinion - no theming, no clip splitting, no timeline mode, no video effects, etc, etc - a complete step BACKWARDS

My first few minutes with iMovie '08. AWESOME!!! Except I can't find out how to split a clip......but I think it's a new paradigm and I have to "unlearn" my old ways of working

First try wasn't too good, so I ran it thru an MPEG-4 encoder and that took it down from 200MB MOV to a 28MB AVI file, so LV should have a better time with it
