I went on the Gothic Cruise 2008 for my vacation this year. It was very inspiring. This video was shot during the Farewell Party on the Lido deck. They are playing one of my favorite songs, "Assimilate" by Skinny Puppy from their Bites album. On a technical note, I created the cool title sequence using 3D Invigorator in a precomp which then allowed me to apply After Effect's Advanced Lightning effect.

The Atlantis Resort tour was mainly about the aquariums but we also got to see some million dollar sculptures. I'm experimenting with MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 11 and different video settings to see if I can improve my video quality. Instead of the recommended 320x240 pixel dimensions I used 640x480. I also uploaded a much bigger file. Uploading this video to LiveVideo is mostly just for comparison with YouTube's new high quality option.

This video demonstrates a custom mashup I created using the new web parts technology in ASP.NET 2.0. I used the Stickam, LiveVideo, and YouTube developer APIs to create web parts that display featured videos and other information. I also created web parts to show RSS feeds from blogs and the local weather from the National Weather Service.
